Somehow we have found ourselves now fully in the ‘new year.’

With as many up’s and down’s as my month faced, our world seemed to have faced just as many, if not more. While I’ve been mainly quiet and thoughtful about all the events happening, I’ve also tried to focus on how I can help the world – no matter what side I find myself landing on with the latest of news.  So things like randomly paying for someone’s groceries or thinking of kind words before sassy rhetoric are all things I’ve been practicing… And of course enjoying some really good wine!

Wanting: to not always adult.
Reading: the second book of the Robert Langdon series.
Watching:  e n d l e s s  amount of Parks & Rec.
Listening:  and to the second book of the Robert Langdon series! I’ve been buying audio option with my Kindle books, lately. Best decision. ever.
Hoping: to start shopping with a bit more intention this year.
Waiting: for my new floor cushion to get here!
Getting: excited to not always be surrounded by snow. It’s the little things.
Wishing: L could cook me his chicken soup  e v e r y d a y.. I really need to share the recipe already!
Working: on my next Wonder Forest post! You can catch my first one here.
Dreaming: of my sleeping on my new mattress. I mean twenty six years later I finally don’t sleep on a full sized bed. #winning
Munching:  on so much avocado! (I read that they are great anti agers for skin and I’m willing to try almost anything to keep wrinkles at bay.)
Sipping: Port wine! Ummm holy cow how did I not love this before now?
Finishing: up my closet… still.
Planning: to totally partake in random acts of kindness day – February 17th!
Saving: for upcoming travels! California, Mexico, Florida, Montana… it’s so exciting.
Looking: forward to some warmer weather this week.
Wearing: this mock turtleneck.  A winter essential in my world!
Buying: m y  v a n i t y. I did it! I pulled the trigger and that’s what that pretty little floral bundle is sitting on.  *insert red flamingo dancer*
Refusing: to let go of some big dreams… sometimes the big stuff just takes more time.
Organizing: my whole house. L is going to move in soon and he has  s o  m u c h  kitchen stuff.
Loving: a little weekend away with L! I took not one photo and had basically no internet connection… it was perfect.
Bookmarking: Kaitlin’s picture perfect Instagram feed! Flowers, vintage vibes, kitties… YESS.
