I can’t say it enough – I’m a summer girl. It’s always been a season filled with beach trips, my birthday and perfect warm weather in Wyoming. Though one thing I do look forward to when my favorite season finally comes to an end is the endless amount of baking that I end up doing in the fall. And one of my absolute favorite fall recipes is from my momma’s Southern Living cookbook – Cranberry Scones.
These scones are the perfect blend of cranberries and ground cloves. It’s a super straightforward recipe that anyone can whip out within an easy fifteen minutes. And I always find myself sneaking these scones for a quick breakfast out the door or paired with light tea for a relaxing dessert.
Warm weather might be leaving me, but with my favorite cranberrry scones and some tea I can maybe survive fall and the cold months to come.
