It’s so hard to believe that August is already here. I had this post sitting in my drafts for a week and -oops- the first of August went flying by.

July was a weird month. Nothing seemed to go quite right. Though conversely I think that means that went horribly wrong either.

There were so many good things and good news that came with the month, but there were also some lows that squeezed in as well. (Really hoping my car doesn’t break down this next month at all.) At the end of it, I’m hoping July ends the streak of odd lows and leaves the rest of year to be a bit more normal.

Wanting: our beautiful bike riding weather to never go away.
Reading: Free to Focus. This year has felt a bit overwhelming and I feel like I’ve been constantly behind – trying to change that!
Watching: (more like rewatching) Grey’s Anatomy.
Listening: to a podcast called ‘InvestED.’ It’s maybe more of a dull subject about investing in the stock market, but is weirdly addicting.
Hoping:  to go next month with my car not breaking down. Big goals ya’ll, big goals.
Waiting: *not so patiently* for my next hydrafacial at Instinct Spa.
Getting: ready for an art walk next month. (More on that later!)
Wishing: ice cream had zero calories.
Working: on not feeling burned out. (Thus why I’m reading Free to Focus.)
Dreaming: of my family reunion week spent in Port St. Joe in Florida!
Munching: on these cauliflower rice burrito bowls.
Sipping: so much ginger ale.
Finishing: up our bathroom remodel – F I N A L L Y.
Planning: a Fall adventure at this super cute Airbnb.
Saving: for travel. New house. Life. All of it.
Looking: forward to a fun weekend in Big Sky this month at the event Vine and Dine!
Wearing: my favorite new espadrilles.
Buying: these retro sunnies from J.Crew.
Refusing: to believe Summer will be gone in another month.
Organizing: my closet! All of sudden it’s overflowing.
Loving: all the Summer nights spent at home.
Bookmarking: all of Selena’s travels on Find Us Lost.
