Let’s hold on to the fact that it’s November and acknowledge that a New Year is right around the corner. So crazy. 

October was a month that didn’t really fly by for once! Or it did but we equally enjoyed it.  We seemed to be able to check so many more of our to-do’s off our list. (I feel like everyone’s Summer went so fast we are all playing catch up.)

Wanting: share a little bit more of my most recent photography projects! Stay tuned 🙂
Reading: Fortune Cookie Recipe.  Bernadette Jiwa’s books are so so good for those looking to nerd out on branding.
Watching: Ozark. In two weeks. Both seasons.
Listening: to Rita is Gone by the Marcus King Band. So so good.
Hoping: to see the sun at least once this week. It’s looking oh so gloomy for us.
Waiting: to hear back for a really exciting future project.
Getting: excited for Christmas. Ugh I know – I’m that person.
Wishing: I could use my tech free corner even more next week.
Working: on that balance I’m so fond of. I lost sight of it this Summer so I’m over heard working on embracing the slow as much as I embrace the busy.
Dreaming: of the holidays spent with my family.
Munching: on no Halloween candy! First year ever I didn’t make myself sick on candy corn.
Sipping: Halloween-y cocktails. 
Finishing: up all my photo edits! I got so far behind on work it feels amazing to not be drowning in to-do’s.
Planning: out our trip to Hawaii! We nabbed an Alaska Airlines credit card so we can get their famous companion fare. Love me some savings.
Saving: for the future and stuff.
Looking:  forward to finally visiting Magnolia for the first time ever. Whoop whoop.
Wearing: sweaters from Love Street. All day errayday.
Buying: some wide legged crop jeans! Finally found a pair that shmedium fits short legs.
Refusing: 
Organizing: ideas for a bathroom remodel. Still.
Loving: second shooting a wedding up in Glacier with a local photographer!
Bookmarking: Katie Jameson photography. One word – o b s e s s e d.

October may not have been filled with the most epic of travels or days, but it was a healthy balance to the craziness that the previous months were.
