Vintage art is definitely having it’s spotlight and I have to say I’m loving it! I’m often asked on Instagram where I get vintage-inspired pieces that are different than the typical retail prints you see in Big Box stores. Luckily, online print shops have really grown and expanded their range to include vintage art.

It’s in the details. Or that’s the saying anyways! It’s not a huge secret around here that I preferred remodeling a house over building one. There’s something about lived-in details that always feel cozier than new. Luckily, with the help of a few great vendors you can find hardware that looks as though it was there long before you lived in your home.

I feel as though the title of this post is a bit misleading. Because rolling up your sleeves and building your own house puts you squarely in a save category and not a splurge one. That being said I do feel like there were areas where we allocated our budget more to one side than the other. No matter where you are in the building process (dreaming, saving, framing) you’ll come up against your budget. It’s just the way construction works.

I know it hasn’t been too long since my last ‘Feel Goods’ (I’m thinking maybe just a short week ago I shared good news), but this is a series I want to keep going. And I know I have the tendency to never stick with series. They always start to feel a bit contrived or […]

It always seems healthy habits come with some sort of downfall. Like you eat more greens, you miss pizza. You destress and step away, your to-do list stacks up. And it’s hard when the downfalls just feel like they out weigh the benefits. But keeping our bodies and minds healthy is possibly the most important […]

Headphones With so much traveling I never really seemed to have time to talk about podcasts. Which is certainly not a bad thing just seemed quite unrelatable to me these last couple weeks. Summer is easily my favorite season. Birthdays, reunions, and beach weeks it’s the time of year I always find myself dreaming of. Plus, it’s the season no one thinks twice about dinner parties and agrees on cheese + wine being a complete meal. Whether it’s the homemade desserts that are memorable or the wines that […]
